Timer Recording: The DVR’s will allow the user to set up a comprehensive timer schedule so that it only records during the times and days recording is required.
Recording Recycling: Once the hard drive is full the DVR’s can be set to rerecord over the hard drive or display a message alerting the user that the hard drive is full.
Recording Times: The following table shows an estimation of the recording times available on the DVR for selected fps and picture quality settings. The times shown are per
GB of hard drive space, to calculate the time for the hard drive size that will be fitted in the DVR simply multiply by the hard drive size. (eg. For 80Gb the calculation will be 80 x
1.5 days which is 120 days)

Full and Multi Screen Playback: During playback on the EDVR4 (4 camera version) it is possible to view each camera full screen or all 4 as a quad image, in addition to

his on the EDVR8 (8 camera version) the cameras can also be viewed as an 8 camera cameo, and on the EDVR16 (16 camera version) as a 16 camera cameo also.

Recording Search: Recordings can be quickly and easily found by simply entering the time and date the user is looking for or by selecting from the motion or event recording
lists, which list the time date and camera number that was recorded.
Backing Up
USB Back Up to PC: The EDVR range is fitted with a USB port for easy backing up on to a compatible Windows PC. To back up the user has to connect the DVR to a PC and
then using the X-vision Windows DVR Back Up software supplied view and select the recordings they wish to back up. These can then be backed up as standard AVI files to the
PC’s hard drive and copied to CD or DVD if required. The backed up files can be played back on any compatible Windows PC.
Back Up To Video, CD or DVD: The EDVR range can also be connected to a Video Recorder or CD/DVD recorder using the optional MONCL6 lead which allows you to
connect a recorder and monitor to the EDVR at the same time. During playback of recordings on the DVR the recorder connected can then record footage being viewed to video
cassette, CD or DVD.
Networking/Internet Access
The EDVR range does not have networking/internet access, if you require these features please see the X-vision TDVR Professional DVR range.

designed for use with X-vision DVRs and
