Chapter 3 - Using Vision -
The Basics
Terminology
To begin, you should learn some of the common terms used in this manual.
When using a mouse, you will see a mouse pointer on the screen (usually an
arrow). This pointer is a visual indicator of screen locations. To move the
pointer, you move the mouse. The following terms relate to using a mouse.
Point Move the pointer to “point” at something on the
screen.
Click Press and release the left button on the mouse.
Right Click Press and release the right button on the mouse.
Double-Click Press and release the left button on the mouse two
times rapidly.
Drag Point at an object and press and hold down the left
button. While holding down the button, move the
mouse which in turn will “drag” the object. When
you let go of the button, the object will be “dropped”
at that position.
